I developed an interest in movement, dance and wellness from an early age, beginning dance class at age 5 and taking my first yoga class at 10. In college, I was inspired by a psychology class with Dr. Ron Melzack, a leading pain researcher at McGill University. My major in cultural anthropology led to the study of indigenous healing practices.
As a young adult, my experience overcoming headaches with biofeedback, hypnosis, and acupuncture led to my becoming certified in 1991 by the Center for Integrative Acupressure in Shelburne Falls, MA.
Over the years I have taken classes and workshops in a variety of modalities including cranio-sacral therapy, chakra balancing, therapeutic touch, and reflexology. I am also a spiritual advisor and ordained minister of the Universal Life Church.
A dancer, drummer and active community volunteer, I am dedicated to wellness and unity.
